I feel like I need to apologise – I usually try not to go so long without posting a recipe. I still love you guys, but it’s really hard to find time for blogging right now. I’ve been busy. (I know, we’ve all been busy.) When I look back over the past year, I realise that there are only two other times in my life when I’ve worked this hard; one was the last year of my PhD, and the other was preparing for a survival-of-the-fittest kind of exam after six years of training at university. I am one tired bunny right now, so there’s no recipe to post in the foreseeable future.
However the good news is that I have been coming up with lots and lots of recipes. Some are for upcoming events – and if you want to join me at one of those, the next ones are Plant-Based Food 101 on October 19 (in Dunedin) or Spring Extrawdinary Food on October 29 (in Auckland). All of the events for the rest of the year (click here for a full list) have quite a few bookings, and we’re full-to-the-brim with bookings for private events.
Some of the other recipes are for a few yet-to-be-announced publications; I’d love to share the details and every fibre in me wants to blurt them out, but I have to restrain myself a little bit longer. They will be worth the wait, I assure you (and they may not be what you think). Anyway, to whet your appetite, keep an eye on my facebook page or my instagram feed – at least I find time for those most days so that’s where the action is right now. (And, occasionally, twitter, although I really don’t understand it one bit. If someone could explain it to me, in 140 characters or less, that would be awesome).
And rather than beat myself up about not blogging, I read this post about how to be a terrible blogger – and then I felt better again.
