Let’s Get this Show on the Road

Yes that’s right, we’re heading for the bright lights of Riverton in just over a week!

We are thrilled to be delivering a workshop at this year’s Riverton Heritage Harvest Festival. You can see the workshop programme here; there’s a whole range of great topics. You could pretty much organise your entire gastronomical life: bee-keeping, food-foraging, beer-brewing, cob oven-making, sour dough bread….and a whole lot more. We’re presenting an Autumn version of the Extrawdinary Food and Drinks Workshop on Sunday 23rd March, 2.00 – 4.15pm and we can’t wait! We’re going to be making use of seasonal produce that’s available in that neck of the woods to make delicious plant-based snacks, drinks and meals. As always, everything we make will be gluten-, dairy- and processed sugar-free, and will taste fantastic. Let me know if you have any questions or, if you’re interested in coming, book directly through the festival organisers. Spaces are limited. Might see you there!

Riverton

Particularly excited about this as it’s our first time presenting at a festival (I went to this festival as an attendee last year, and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed vibe, amazing wealth of information and super-friendly people). Also happy to be in Riverton again as it’s a beautiful spot – very appropriately referred to as the Riviera of the South. Apparently it’s a great place for fishing. We’ve spent a considerable amount of time on this pier, and that has made no difference whatsoever to the fish population of Riverton (still, as Kim Hill once said, it’s not called catching, it’s called fishing!). We tend to fare better if we stick to dealing with fruit and vegetables – less evasive.

Looks like SO much fun! Try not to overindulge! Or…. just do it and sort that out later 😉

Yes. sorting it out later is definitely the way to go Sara. No chance of us over-indulging in fish though.
