Feel like you need some inspiration for portable deliciousness? Have you tried making kale chips? You can buy them from health food shops if you’re feeling flush (I saw them a while ago – a bag for $12?! Um…no thanks). Alternatively, grab (or better still, grow) some kale and make them yourself. They’re easy – but they’re also easy to ruin. I’ve thrown out enough trays to figure out how to make them taste awesome every time – and that’s just one of the recipes for next week’s Nibl demo.
We have three – or perhaps four at a pinch – spaces left in the Lunchbox Envy demo – click on the name if you want more info.
When/where? Wednesday 23 July, 7.00 – 8.30pm at Taste Nature, 131 High St, Dunedin
We’ve run this one a few times now and it’s been really popular – click on the review tab if you want to read what Jacinta thought of it! And there are some more comments on the feedback page.
What I love about these events is that anyone can find recipes online, or read recipe books, and try things out themselves – but the workshops are all about tasting the food, seeing how it’s made and hearing other people’s ideas too. I try to include as many little hints and tricks as I can possibly manage. (Oh and there may be one or two funny stories along the way too.) It amazes me that every event is so different, and I learn lots from the people there each time. So if you’d like to be part of it…get in quick!
