I’m on a bit of a buzz, having just had a great Extrawdinary Food workshop in Auckland last night – the first one in the North Island. Couldn’t bring my usual entourage of wonderful helpers (did find some great new Auckland ones!), but I did bring the vitamix. (That thing weighs about 6kg, in case you ever need to know. Almost required its own seat on the plane).
Our first ever five-hour workshop in Dunedin recently was a big hit too – there was a huge amount of interest in that one, so we’ll definitely run it again next year. Add yourself to the mailing list if you want to be first in the know for next year’s dates, which I’ll be announcing in November – mailing list people get to know first, and events are now starting to book out well in advance, so it pays to be in the loop. Each topic is running only once in Dunedin in 2015.
Speaking of which, we have just two more public Dunedin events this year and they both have a few spaces left at this stage. You can check them out here (click on the titles to read more):
Good Morning Sunshine Demo – Monday 10 November, 7.00 – 8.30pm – all about super-duper delicious ways to start your day.
Super Snacks (festive edition) – Sunday 7 December, 12.00 – 2.30pm – sweet and savoury nibbles, snacks and small bites, with a focus on healthy, tasty foods for special occasions.
And check out this weekend’s Otago Daily Times supplement for my next food column (if you missed them, you can read last month’s recipes here and here). Metaphorical raw plant-based dairy-free chocolate fish heading telepathically to anyone who can guess why I took 76 food photos one day last week. Which one was it?
