Howdy Niblers!
Late last year the wonderful Isabella Harrex and her trusty camera came along to the Plant-Based Food 101 Workshop. It was a great event – as well as me demonstrating different techniques for creating amazing healthy food, we had lots of creation stations where the guests got to concoct their own plant-based alchemy! We had blenders chewing through their own seals, cacao powder smudging its way all over the floor, people arm-wrestling over the frozen berries (it’s possible I’m exaggerating a little with that one)….and at the end of it, an amazing shared meal.
It was the first time I’d run an event that long and it was a blast. The feedback was so wonderful for me to read, and we’re doing it all again this year. To give you a (virtual) taste of what a Nibl event is like, check out these wonderful images. (Thanks for your fantastic work Isabella, and to my super assistants, and particularly to the guests who were kind enough to have their photos taken!)

Fancy yourself at one of these events? If you’d love to roll up your sleeves and have a go, the five-hour workshops give you the best opportunity. If you’d rather sit back, relax and watch someone else break the equipment, the demonstrations are your cup of tea. And if you’re somewhere in the middle, you’ll want to grab a ticket to a workshop!
Here’s what’s on in Dunedin this year:

Just a couple of things to keep in mind. Many of the events already have quite a few bookings, and the earlybird price for each event closes a week in advance. Also, registrations close 48 hours before each event, so please don’t wait until the last minute to book – I don’t want you to miss out! Also, Nibl is expanding into different territory this year – I’m going to start working online much more and there will be fewer live events in future. So if you’ve always wanted to come to a Nibl event, THIS is the time to do it – if you want to join us, we’d love to see you!
